The firm represents a sophisticated client base that includes developers, investors, lenders, institutional owners, and private equity-backed real estate platforms across the country.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on complex commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, development, financing, joint ventures, and leasing
- Lead and grow key client relationships, serving as primary relationship partner for institutional and high-value clients
- Play an active role in business development and cross-selling opportunities across firm practice groups
- Provide strategic leadership within the real estate practice, including mentoring junior partners and associates
- Transition and assume responsibility for significant client relationships from retiring partners as part of a structured succession plan
- Collaborate with firm leadership on long-term practice growth and market positioning
Qualifications
- 15+ years of sophisticated commercial real estate experience, preferably with a strong transactional focus
- Demonstrated experience handling high-value, complex real estate transactions
- Moderate portable book of business required; firm offers strong institutional support to help expand and deepen client relationships
- Admitted to practice in Illinois and in good standing
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and contribute at the partner level
